Since 1999, Dawn has served as president of Keene Design, Inc. an award winning Atlanta-based firm specializing in graphic design. Client engagements have included The Home Depot, Citi Cards, Clark Atlanta University and Spelman College. She also has served as Adjunct Instructor in design and media technology at Atlanta Technical College for more than a decade. Dawn has been in involved in sustainable design for the past seven years, both as a designer and business owner. She currently serves as a mentor on the High Performance Healthy Schools Committee for USGBC Atlanta (United States Green Building Council). Her previous affiliations have included serving as the membership chair and on the sustainability committee for AIGA Atlanta (American Institute of Graphic Arts AIGA.) Dawn earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Georgia State University and a Master of Arts in Sustainable Design from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
